ATRI is excited to again partner with HAZMAT Responder Network to deliver a 2-Day Cargo Tank Awareness Training on March 13–14. This course is built for towing, recovery, and response professionals who may be called to incidents involving cargo tank vehicles, product transfer systems, and leak containment situations. The training also serves as an annual HAZWOPER Technician Update, combining classroom instruction with practical, field-focused learning to improve safety, coordination, and decision-making during high-risk hazmat-related events.

Saturday, March 14th – 8 am – 5 pm
2 Day Cargo Tank Awareness Training Includes: $795 per attendee
Hazard Classes and Cargo Tankers used to Transport Products.
Cargo Tankers Plumbing and Appendances used for Product Transfer With Focus on Dot 406, Dot 407 and Dot 412 Cargo Vessels
Pressure Transfer and Tapping, Drilling along with Vac and Pumping
Plumbing, Filling, and Draining Procedures: Detailed instruction on the operation of cargo tank equipment, including valves, hoses, and gauges.
Bonding and Grounding Techniques: Essential procedures.
Recovery Techniques and Hook Points:
Actual Upright of Tractor-Trailer Tanker: Hands-on with class participation.
Towing and Hazmat Coordination: Real-world planning for integrated operations.
Specialized Recovery and Containment: Techniques for managing leaks.
Safety Compliance and Training: Meets two OSHA standards.
