JT Reasor
Lead Instructor
JT Reasor brings more than 20 years of real-world towing and recovery experience to the American Towing & Recovery Institute. His passion for the industry began at an early age, becoming the youngest Certified WreckMaster student at just 13 years old—a milestone that reflects a lifelong commitment to mastering the towing profession.
Today, JT serves as a Supervisor for A&A Towing Services and Bolin Services in the St. Louis area, where he continues to work in the field as a full-time heavy-duty rotator operator. His daily experience handling complex recoveries, commercial vehicle incidents, and challenging heavy-duty operations allows him to bring current, real-world knowledge into every ATRI class.
Known for his engaging teaching style and hands-on approach, JT combines practical experience with a passion for developing the next generation of towing professionals. Whether in the classroom or on the training field, he emphasizes safe decision-making, technical excellence, and professionalism—helping students build confidence, strengthen their skills, and prepare for the challenges they face every day on the job.



Megan Bruns
Operations Manager
Megan Bruns oversees the daily operations, planning, and coordination of ATRI’s nationwide training programs. From scheduling classes and supporting training partners to developing educational resources, marketing initiatives, and enhancing the student experience, she works behind the scenes to ensure every ATRI event is organized, professional, and successful.
With more than 20 years of experience in sales, marketing, and business development, Megan brings a strategic perspective to the growth of ATRI and its educational programs. She also serves as the Director of Marketing for Cardinal Legacy Towing Group, where she leads the marketing efforts for a family of eight towing companies throughout the Midwest, helping strengthen their brands, expand their market presence, and support continued growth across the organization.
Passionate about advancing education within the towing industry, Megan is dedicated to connecting towing companies and professionals with high-quality training opportunities that improve safety, strengthen teams, and elevate professionalism throughout the industry. Through her leadership and commitment to innovation, she continues to help expand ATRI’s reach while supporting its mission of developing the next generation of towing professionals.

Travis True
Instructor
Travis True is the owner of True Towing & Recovery in Michigan and brings more than 20 years of towing and recovery experience to the ATRI instructor team. As a business owner and full-time heavy-duty rotator operator, Travis remains actively involved in complex recoveries every day, giving him firsthand knowledge of the challenges and techniques required in today’s towing industry.
His practical, hands-on teaching style helps students understand not only how recovery techniques work, but why they are critical to safe, efficient, and successful operations. Drawing from years of real-world experience, Travis shares valuable insights into recovery planning, equipment operation, scene management, and professional decision-making.
Committed to safety, professionalism, and continuous learning, Travis is passionate about helping operators strengthen their technical skills, build confidence, and elevate the standards of the towing and recovery industry through high-quality education and hands-on training.


Cody Post
Instructor
Cody Post is the co-owner of CP Wrecker in Alabama, which he operates alongside his wife, and brings more than 20 years of towing and recovery experience to the ATRI instructor team. As a full-time heavy-duty rotator operator, Cody is actively involved in complex recoveries on a daily basis, giving him practical, real-world experience that directly benefits every student he teaches.
As an ATRI instructor, Cody focuses on practical recovery techniques, equipment knowledge, and safe operating procedures that students can immediately apply in the field. His real-world perspective, combined with years of hands-on experience, helps operators develop the technical skills, confidence, and sound decision-making needed to handle today’s increasingly complex recovery situations.
Known for his approachable teaching style and commitment to hands-on education, Cody creates an engaging learning environment where students gain not only the knowledge to earn a certification but also the confidence to perform safer, more professional towing and recovery operations every day.
